Great!! Incredible rooms and a PERFECT location! Only complaint is that the light fixture remotes are universal, so my light and fan kept changing based on other rooms clicking their remotes.

Beware!!!! Do not book this hotel. The hospitality is racist and everything is old and dusty. The worst smell ever. It will remind you of a funeral parlor. There are better hotels in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay! I got nervous after I booked on Airbnb because of the negative reviews here, but I believe these were from before the renovation and new management. The hosts were very communicative and usually responded immediately. The location is AMAZING, in the French Quarter and near everything but very quiet. We loved having the balcony and looking out over the FQ, it was definitely a highlight. I would say it's also one of the areas I felt safest in the city at night after traveling around different neighborhoods. The place was very clean--there were some signs of wear in the high traffic areas (some peeling paint, sagging shelves and a broken off toilet paper holder) but it didn't bother us. Bathroom and kitchen were very clean. There were window ACs in all the rooms which coolest the place well (though it wasn't the height of summer so can't speak to when it's really hot). Also, just remember this is a residence and not a hotel-- you check yourself in and there is no staff on site (they are clear about this). Also, this IS a very old building (so no elevator, common areas are older, etc.)--but that's also part of its charm!

I gave 1 start since there was no zero . Where do I start? First of all they dont have any parking, and when we called them asking where we could park, they asked us to find a public parking (the closest parking is 5 miles away and we had to uber back to the facility) There was no front desk or reception in the facility and you have to get with a code and find everything by yourself! There is no elevator in the facility and We had to carry our luggages up using the very steep stairs. Inside the apartment was very old , smelly and dirty! I found a pair of fake lashes on the bed . The toilet paper holder just came off as soon as I touched it. We could not stand that place and called Expedia and explained the situation, they called the management and management told them they are not able to refund. Long story short; it was not a place to remain so we left and had to eat $680 which saint philip never refunded us. Stay away of this place and go somewhere else and save yourself tome and Money !!

Despite what all the other reviews say, this place is amazing. It is a bit worn in but what do you expect with an 18th century home. I fell in love with its charm and of course the location! It was perfectly located within blocks of everything in the heart of the quarter. We will definitely stay again.
