      • That's Controversial Podcast

        Food was delicious. So good, I forgot to take pics. Had the Flying Burrito and had them make it with the habanero salsa for an extra $1. Fianc had the street tacos. Everything was spectacular. Tremendous. The type of meal that makes you want to fall asleep at the wheel. 10/10.

        When a customer observes kitchen staff touch their hair, then proceed to prepare food without gloves on. This is a bad sign. When the customer tells the host what they saw and the host attempts to justify the bad food handling practices. That is food poison waiting to happen.

        Juans is definitely a go to when Im in the area. Im a big fan of just the house marg and tacos but you really cant go wrong with anything here. Its got the vibe and great food, only complaint is parking but hey its New Orleans .

      Ron you are absolutely spot-on. I am so thankful for your review, the moment it came in we were able to reinforce the RULE that hats are a must, and hand-washing is top-of-mind, not just at the location you reviewed, but at all 5 of our locations. We were also able to remind our hosts that they must take customer feedback seriously, and inform the boss asap when an issue is brought to light. We take the health of our diners very seriously, and heck, our own health as well. I take my own family to Juan's all the time, and I can't have Mrs. Juanita being exposed to anything approaching an unsanitary act. Little Juanita and Juanito too. So, again, I thank you for taking the time to write the review, I appreciate the business, and I promise you that we will make a fantastic impression next time you visit.-Mr. Juan

      Oh Mike, if I had a dollar for every time I heard about the parking in Midcity, I would have enough dollars to buy 340 street tacos on taco Tuesday. By the way, that's only $680, so if you ever need 340 tacos, you know where to come. Thanks for the review and all the business, Mike-Mr. Juan
