Christmas dinner at Tujacques was an unforgettable experience! As the grande dame of New Orleans dining since 1856, the ambiance was steeped in history and charm. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty. The cuisine was impeccable, showcasing the rich flavors of Creole cuisine with a modern twist. My husband TJ Lavoie and I savored every bite, from the classic gumbo to the decadent bread pudding. The impeccable service and elegant surroundings truly made it a Christmas to remember. The food was fine. Our wait staff was very busy and overwhelmed with our party. Our drink options were not explained to us properly.

This is the best meal I had in Nola (and I visited several of the famous spots). The wedge salad was divine, amazing buttermilk dressing. The cocktails were perfect, no skimping on the liquor. The boudin balls were made in house and simply fantastic. I had the crab cakes and eggs which was two pan seared Louisiana crab cakes, poached eggs, roasted corn sauce and sauce choron. I can't even begin to explain how amazing all of these flavors came together. Who would think that warm egg yolk would take a crab cake to the next level, but it did. RUN to Tujagues! So, so good!
