Small charming little out of the way dive bar with supposedly great hamburgers- I found mine a bit dry and not crazy about a small mound of unmelted cheese on top of it. Overall, I was not impressed.

Dont be fooled by appearances! It looks like you just stepped back in time, but the food, drinks, and service are of this century! The burger was fresh and tasted like it was freshly grilled. The drinks are great. And the servers are very friendly. I have the tendency of judging establishments by their appearance- Im glad I gave this place a shot!! It was top notch!
Kid-friendliness: We were able to dine in with our 15 year old daughter.

I live around the corner, so I keep trying and trying to give this place another chance. It smells so good on the outside. Unfortunately I have yet to have a burger there that I liked. Another neighbor told me to not bother with the burger and get a steak. On that advice, I ordered a ribeye, medium rare. The first thing I noticed was that it was shaped funny. It didn't look like a ribeye and the texture was wrong. I think they took a thick sirloin and cut it into shape. I also think they pre sear the steaks then just get them to temperature in the oven, unfortunately they missed this time. I also don't love that their customers block the sidewalk in the residential end of the Quarter. If I had to go back, I would just get a potato and call it a day.
