Indulging in oyster heaven at Felix's Restaurant & Oyster Bar with my Momma was an unforgettable experience! The oysters were absolutely divine fresh, succulent, and bursting with flavor. I can't stop dreaming about them! Visiting a week before Mardi Gras was perfect timing the atmosphere was electric, and the oysters were at their peak. My wife and I had dinner here while on an anniversary trip. We heard all the good things about it. There was a short wait to get in when we went. The waiter was good he checked on us regularly. Our food was served and it was like warm at best. I ordered a steamed shrimp type of plate. There was no stream. My wife ordered the shrimp and pasta and her food was also not hot. The flavor of the food was good at best. I guess since it's the French Quarter they don't have to impress since most customers are tourists. To many other options for me to want to don't here again. I don't regret it but it was not a meal I want to remember.

Overpriced food and bad service. Paid around $50 for an appetizer and a main course. They never brought one of the dishes. Also, there was a queue in the entrance but around 4 tables empty, we figured they always let people queue, so they think the restaurant is good.

My favorite place to eat in the Quarter. Best food! Advice: don't go during peak hours, sit at the bar, and ask for Moe. Moe knows how to serve up oysters and provided the best, friendliest service I've had in a long time.

Second time back, and I had to indulge in their chargrilled oysters with a Hurricane. Will always come back to this spot because I'm always dreaming about those oysters! Staff is always friendly and welcoming.
