This Friday me and my daughter went to this store, everytime we go we have a great experience and always get what we need but this particular time when we went my daughter got some oil and I bought 3 bottles of oil 2 soaps and some incense, we went home not knowing that something was missing and when we got home we proceeded to share and tell and show each other what we had. I looked in the bag to find the 3 oils but there was only 1 meaning 2 were missing, and guess what I STILL HAD TO PAY FOR BOTH OF THE MISSING OILS. I had a $6 oil and $3 oil and paid for both. I'm so used to getting what I paid for that I never even check my bags until I get home..smh..I have sent other customers bc I loved the service but I never thought this would happen....but anyways besides that it's a really nice shop and a solid 4 to 5 stars

I came to New orleans specifically hoping to go to a Santa Muerte offerenda. Other shrines in other locations were to finicky with hours. I was not planning on doing a lot of readings especially not in the touristy attractions but we were in New Orleans so my gf wanted one and I cave to another. Both were general let downs vague advice applicable to anyone telling you what you want to hear and affirming insecurities and beliefs everyone holds about themselves I went to new Orleans Healing center to leave a offering at the Santa Muerte statue the people were very cool and friendly I didn't plan on getting a reading or staying long, but I over heard a Mr Hayes talking with customers in depth on west African religions brujeria and Caribbean folk traditions I bet only a few could actually distinguish and elaborate on in length. He seemed knowledgeable and i did one reading they were gracious enough to allow before closing. Off the bat it was not cliche he was able to touch on things very situation specific that he had no aforehand knowledge of. He didn't just tell you what you wanted to hear and his conversation was more focused and less general than any reader I have ever had additionally he was very non judgemental and he allowed you to speak as much or as little as you were comfortable with. I have been curious and have done a number of readings in my life. This one felt the most genuine least cliche and the only time I have felt a reader was on to something they could not have known. Shop had Santeria, vodou, Yoruba, santisma, and Caribbean folk remedies and statues and spell work items. Seems they had a wide understanding and wide respect of beliefs. Seems that they spoke Spanish and English which not a lot of stores did. Super appreciate Mr Hayes, if there was a place I would go back to it would be this one. Skip the tourist traps and go for the genuine readers who have knowledge and respect of multiple traditions at this shop.
