Dr. Asa Pharr was my lifeline to mental health after suffering sanctuary harm at the hands of two female psychologists, one at Ochsner and another not associated with Ochsner. Thanks to Dr. Pharr's gentle and compassionate therapeutic manner and mastery of pharmacology I am happily in the process of returning to health and self-actualization.

I have been going here weekly for several months. It is located on the second floor of Spa Atlantis, so it's possible to schedule a massage or salon visit around your Mind-Body Health appointments. There is no private parking, so it might be a pain to park in the French Quarter at certain hours. The staff is kind, polite, and professional. Scheduling is easy. My only criticism is that they only accept cash, which can be a pain for those of us who rely on using cards. I would recommend this office to friends and family.

Strange policies & standoffish, emotional staff. I asked to be called if I’m not online for my appt after 5 mins instead of after 15 mins Leah was waiting. Therapist got angry, refused to help me by doing this and snapped other patients are busier than me and don’t need to be called, I’m telling her how to do her job & it’s not her job to remind me of my appointments😳. I wasn’t asking for more time, to cancel or reschedule but for her to use 2 seconds of the time I’ve already paid to be allocated to me to call me 10 mins earlier so I wouldn’t miss so much of my appointment. Management emailed me said it’s their policy to wait 15 mins after appt time to call patients & this is inflexible. So I cancelled all my future appointments.
