Renee is an awesome therapist! She listens and is very honest. Been going here for almost 2 months and after every session I feel better. She opened me up to journaling and trying different ways of expressing my feelings. 10/10 I would highly recommend. I wish I would have found her sooner.

Terribly unprofessional she does not return phone calls and seems to have very little interest in supporting this individuals in need of her services.

Renee is down to earth and supportive. She is an African American therapist with extensive experience with both children and adults, so she understands trauma wounds and mental health at many life stages and how they can impact you and present themselves in your current behaviors. She is not a therapist who will have you sit and talk about your past over and over. She will work on your today and tomorrow and then tackle your yesterday’s when it is necessary and the right time. She’s honest and to the point so don’t expect her to appease your ego because that is not how you get healed. She is also specializing in EMDR therapy which helps significantly with anxiety, PTSD, and panic attacks. She is accommodating also, unlike many therapists. She will work with you in the mean time until insurance kicks in. Her response during COVID was exceptional. She did not break our services and immediately moved to telephone sessions which feel like you are kicking back talking to a friend. I’ve had many therapists in my life, and many of you reading this probably have too. Don’t give up yet. Women, men, children and teenagers especially will benefit greatly from Dr. Renee’s support and therapy sessions. She’s more like a mental health & life coach than just a counselor. New Orleans area, don’t miss this mental health gem if you or someone in your family need mental health support (which we all actually do!).
