Participated in focus group this week and really enjoyed the environment. Staff was pleasant, welcoming and very hospitable. It was very easy to share thoughts and connect with various individuals from different backgrounds and cultures. I look forward to working on other projects in the future with New Orleans Perspectives.

I participated in the Lafayette Louisiana group on March 6th. The event was organized and began and ended on time which is very important for people after a long day work. Instructions were given in a clear way and everything went smoothly. Due to the professionalism of the people in charge, I would definitely participate again. One way that might improve the process is to not get quite so many phone calls, emails and texts regarding attendance. I'm not sure what the total number was of all the correspondence, but I know it was probably more than 10 individual contacts. I feel like a confirmation once chosen to participate, and then a follow-up email and text closer to the date of the event, might be sufficient for those who respond. If others do not respond, then perhaps additional means of correspondence might be needed to determine whether or not they will attend the event they signed up to participate in.

I love the focus groups here. Yesterday's was very fun and exciting and making a couple of bucks is never a bad thing. I've definitely referred this to many friends and family.
