Spent several days at this hotel while celebrating my birthday. 100% would stay here again on my next trip to the French Quarter. The customer service all around was fantastic between front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff. I was especially pleased with Cinnamon and Ray. Cinnamon answered so many questions and always had a positive attitude whenever we interacted with her. Ray was pure sunshine, our north star in navigating the French Quarter. He was always on shift during the night and so very welcoming whenever we stepped through the door. This behavior was consistent with each guest I saw him interacting with. Rooms: My only complaint is that the bathroom was a bit grungy. Between the tiles in the shower there was built up grime. On the ceiling there was black spots, likely from the bathroom fan not working well. This did not ruin our experience and I did read reviews before arriving that said similar things. The room was otherwise cozy with excellent AC. Beds were comfortable. Our room did not have a do not disturb sign so we had housekeeping try to come into the room daily. We kept forgetting to ask for a sign so ask for one if you don't want to be bothered. Nearby activities: Bourbon Street is only a few minutes of walking. Many delicious restaurants. Cunada and Bennachins were our favorites. Brennan's makes tableside banana foster. Natchez steamboat tours, the aquarium, and Jackson Square are about 15 minutes away walking and an excellent way to get your tourist fix. Safety: This hotel was safe shelter from the chaos of the French Quarter. With only one entrance that requires key card entry and the secure garage that requires an opener to access, we had no concerns over our car or room getting broken into. Guests were mostly tourists and respectful of amenities. Walkability: This hotel sits on the edge of the French Quarter and it is a 15 minute walk to get the the river. We walked everywhere. With some good shoes, sunscreen, hats, water bottles, and bug repellent you'll be set to venture through the French Quarter.

Room was small, there was no microwave, the coffee maker set up was in the bathroom which was so unsanitary.

The room was very clean and taken care of. For the location, the price was great. Breakfast was nice as hotel buffets go. There was many options. I will be back if available on my return.

Rooms were clean, they will clean them everyday unless you hang the tag up on the door. Pool was just the thing to beat the oppressive heat. They had a bar, but was never open. The one thing I enjoyed was breakfast bar that is included. And they changed it up everyday. Plus its far away from the stank of bourbon street. Also, all day coffee bar was great too. Rooms: Clean. Had a refrigerator, and hair dryer. We had 2 beds, so we only used to sleep in, not throwing parties. Safety: Requires a key card to even get into the lobby from the street. So checking in was a bit of a hassle first time. Walkability: Its as close to bourbon street as I would care to be. All the tour buses pick up there, or close by.
