        My 1st time in Nola, and I couldn't have picked a better spot. The room was perfect, and the location is walking distance to everything. Mr. Gregg at the front desk was also a highlight of the trip as he went above and beyond. Whatever they pay him, it's not enough! The room was turned up daily. I've stayed in plenty of hotels, and this one really made the trip better.

        This hotel is just across the street from the French Quarter. Its quiet, but close enough to walk everywhere in the quarter or to hop on a trolley. Mr.Gregory offered many great suggestions for our weeklong trip. He is the best!! Youll be lucky if you get to meet him.

        This is a great little hotel, with friendly service and a attentive staff. Mr. Gregory was a pleasure to deal with and extremely knowledgeable about NOLA. The hotel serves as the welcome center for the city and the hub for the hop on and off bus tour around the city. During the day the lobby is lively with travelers. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back soon!! Thanks to the Team at the Brakeman Hotel!!

        My wife and I stayed at the Brakeman for a quick trip to New Orleans. It was a great hotel with a great location. It was so convenient being so close to everything and I loved that it was directly above a visitor center with all of the touristy things to do. Both of the Brakeman employees we encountered were nothing but helpful, Mr. Greg and Richard. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting New Orleans.
