Ramada by Wyndham New Orleans

The room was good, and the beds were soft. Enjoyed our stay, and the kids loved it. Wish their was an elevator just to make traversing with kids easier. The location wasn't ideal. The property is gated, and that's great. Otherwise, it would be a bad area. The blocks surrounding the place are not a place to be after hours. The hotel itself tho was great, including staff. The desk workers were happy to talk to you and help you and answered any questions. Safety: It's a gated hotel. The neighborhood around it was horrible, and while in front, we could see drug deals and women working the corners. The hotel being gated is great. It is a safe place with the security provided, and you won't notice anything unless you go out front and watch for it.

I would not even give this place one star!!! Filthy, Loud, Ghetto Its definitely a filthy motel. Its hard to believe its under Wyndham Hotels!!!! BEWARE Do not book here do your research and the area where this place is definitely not a safe area!!!!

How is this place? I have no idea. I can tell you when I got there, the place had a piece of paper taped to the lobby window saying they would be back in an hour. There was a line of people already waiting and we gave them an additional hour but they never opened the lobby. Their were already people screaming in the parking lot while we waited. This place is living up to its reputation.
