        Rooms: Weve stayed in 6 different rooms so far. Each room is unique, splendidly furnished, comfortable and quiet. Nearby activities: Located at the prime intersection of classic St. Charles Avenue at Audubon Park. Theres a Great childrens playground in the park, very close by. Audubon Zoo is one mile away; its a beautiful stroll through the park. You can easily catch the St. Charles streetcar to downtown and the French Quarter. Tulane and Loyola Universities are across the street. Magazine St. shopping is close by. So many excellent restaurants within easy distance. Safety: The Park View is in one of the safest areas of New Orleans. Walkability: Audubon Park is next door. I never miss an opportunity to visit the duck pond and marvel at the majestic old oak trees. Food & drinks: Breakfast buffet is very upscale with plenty of variety. Snacks and beverages are available in the dining area 24/7. The Gilded Perch Lounge is a wonderful watering hole. Guests can choose to sit in the cozy lounge or on the scenic porch and patio or in the antique filled hotel lobby.

        50 stars! Spent an afternoon drinking at the bar. The bartender was grand! The cocktails exceeded all expectations. My buddies and I meet a Reverend and his wife who were in-town to visit their daughter at collage. The conversation was great not what we expected. You never know who youll meet and get to know randomly. This hotel is a true NOLA jewel with grand service! Walkability: Great for an afternoon stroll! Food & drinks: Perfection!

        This B&B was a wonderful surprise as the first I've been too. Although it keeps with the Victorian style throughout, the bathrooms are updated, and everything was very clean. Service was friendly and helpful. Only downside for me is that I'm a side sleeper and the beds were comfy but a bit soft for how I usually sleep. The location is beautiful and right next to a lovely park and plenty of walkways!
