I have had a terrible experience as an artist. First, I would rarely get answers to any email questions, which wouldnt be an issue if they kept us updated on potential projects they inform us of. The Vice President, Jeannie P. Tidy, took her frustrations out on me from past bad experiences with other organizations without provocation and was vindictive enough to go after my job. I have never in my life encountered such a bully or such unprofessionalism from an organization. The President, Heather deLapouyade, either isnt aware (even though I believe they use the same email) or thinks this is acceptable. I also feel the need to repeat that this is a PERSONAL review of MY OWN OPINION as an ARTIST or she may be ugly enough of a person to go after my job for a second time. I am not an artist anymore and honestly dont think its fair. Im hurt because this all came from me trying to potentially do something good for the organization I thought I loved but instead of trying to understand, she made assumptions and attacked me. All this is to say... I hate bullies and if this is the only way I can get some small form of peace, so be it.

The CVU Project brings artists and communities together to provide a cleaner better looking neighborhood the artwork and craftsmanship come together to form a New Orleans based local project everyone can be proud of by bringing back the Joy and Art to our neighborhoods!!

They make such a huge difference around the New Orleans and surrounding areas. Taking the boxes and painting them with such beautiful local designs and artists !! Jeanie Tidy is such a role model for most people in my neighborhood.

Thanks so much for for all of you guys hard work!! Its amazing what a difference CVU does around the Jefferson Parish and New Orleans area.
