Consonya Rogers changed my life and i could not possibly thank her enough. Im 22 years old and have suffered with ADHD my whole life. Consonya Rogers has been the only therapist to actually listen to me and I will forever be grateful for her.

I had to fire my counselor for forcing her religious beliefs on me, constantly rescheduling sessions; yet forcing me to sign a cancelation policy, and her asinine google searches took up my session time and impeded my growth.

This place is nothing but quacks they expect you to try all there different drugs that big pharma has them prescibing that has nothing to do with the problem you went to them with in the first place and then won't even allow you to see a doctor in person only over the internet I will not be Goin back and I recommend you stay away as well as they do not have your best interest in mind

I was an established patient of three years at Affinity Behavior Health, with Bates (fabulous counselor and has her own practice now). I had moved out of town and was continuing via telehealth with her managing my prescription for Lamotrigine. When she left and I was assigned to Consonya Rogers, Consonya refused to continue my prescription over telehealth, even though I was still in the state of Louisiana and my insurance told me it was all good to prescribe and continue telehealth. She said it was her personal philosophy to not prescribe medication over telehealth, even when I have been on the same prescription for three years. I had 12 days of medication left and Lamotrigine is known for terrible, painful withdrawal symptoms including hallucinations and seizures. I informed the nurse of the situation and asked if she could even recommend what to do to safely ration or wean off of the medication until I could find a new provider and get a prescription- which takes SO LONG with the hoops you have to jump through. Rogers refused to provide advice for safely rationing, or a prescription for a gradually decreased dose which is the responsible thing to do if she is going to refuse to refill and force me to cut off abruptly. I asked another nurse at Affinity, Kiran, what to do because I was panicking and definitely not wanting to run out of medication and not have a professionals help. She told me to google it. I had to call a mental health crisis hotline for advice and help finding a provider to avoid running out of medication- all because Affinity, that I was with for THREE YEARS, screwed me over and left me out to dry in a mental health emergency, because of Consonya Rogers personal philosophy of not prescribing me life saving seizure medication.
