Minden Family Dental Dr. Zachary M. Goodman, DDS

Great people. Clean business. Great job at taking out tooth. But be ready to be in extreme pain after. They won't give a prescription for pain meds. They told me to get some Tylenol and Advil. They said " take 1 Tylenol and two Advil for pain". I've done that and it doesn't work for me. I've taken 3 Tylenol and 6 Advil in 2 1/2 hours. I want to cry.

Can not say enough good things about this office and their staff. Ive had some not so great dental experience in the past, but Dr. Goodman and Dr. Bundy went above and beyond to make sure any questions were answered and went over ALL options and never once made me feel pressured to make a decision. 10/10 recommend. I seriously can not say enough great things, Lizzy, the assistant was there every step of the way to help calm my nerves as well. They are seriously the best.

Dr Goodman presented a care plan that I didnt understand so I asked him to explain it to me because I wanted to fully understand what my options were before I committed to spending thousands of dollars even after insurance paid their portion. He stood up and said. Let me break it down a little more simple for you and proceed to stand over me and literally and figuratively talked down to me. It was so humiliating and after a few minutes I started to cry and he kept on even though it was obvious I was upset. I sat up and told him I had to leave and proceed to leave the room. My 15 y/o was down the hall so I waited outside the door for him and when Dr. Goodman was done we left. If I had to guess at why Dr. Goodman treated me so poorly I would have to say it was because he was very busy and I was keeping him from his next patient by having him explain my options. Shortly thereafter I received a call from one of his staff and she apologized to me for the way he treated me even though she wasnt even in the room when it happened. The staff has always been very friendly to my whole family and up until that day so was Dr. Goodman.

I went to this fella who talked nonstop and loud enough to annoy beyond other cubicles. He fussed on and on at a preteen for improper care and such. The annoying man tried to fake his "niceness" after talking bad about kids he had coached another cubbi over. Just too much talk about his goodness and then him messing up a tooth of mine that was perfect since Dr. Cabiness fixed it. Then he would not listen when my sister was in traumatic pain. When she asked that he fix the tooth he said he couldn't give her more pain meds since it was fine! She found another dentist to se her tan Ruston. The dentist took one X-ray showing her what was so easy to see that the new dentist had trouble understanding how Goodman missed it leaving someone under his care in so much pain!!!
