        Very mediocre food at high prices. Nice, newly renovated interior; unfortunately the food isn't on the same level. Waiter repeatedly got our orders wrong or incomplete. At the end of our meal he let us sit for half an hour with a table of dirty dishes. Regardless of how many attempts we made to get his attention (to get our check) he would not make eye contact. Twice before one of us had to get up and go ask him for things we had previously requested. I can think of a dozen other locally-owned traditional New Orleans Italian/Creole places that are far better at much more reasonable prices. I find all these glowing reviews highly suspect.

        Had the fried shrimp and oyster platter, and the bread pudding. It was very good. Will definitely be back!

        The whole Soft shell crab on my husbands seafood plater was the size of the fork. Sent back the ice tea because it had a weird taste to it. I got a coke in a bottle with a glass of ice. It was the ice that had the bad taste, apparently their ice machine needs to be cleaned or replaced. Did not get ketchup or Parmesan cheese until we were almost finished eating. Very disappointed in this restaurant considering the reviews it had.

      This is why we can't have nice things... we throw in a bonus buster softshell crab with our platters for no extra charge, and we get a complaint about the size.... Kelly, please read the menu - it says buster soft shell crab. Google what that means... every time we try to do something nice and give something away for free we get complaints about it... We do apologize about the ice. The ice machine is perfectly clean, but we heard your complaint about the ice and we tried to make you happy by giving you a free bottle of coke to make up for the tea, and apparently that was not enough... I'm not sure what else you wanted us to do.And this is the first time we heard about the issue with the ketchup or parmesan cheese. We apologize about that. We are constantly working on improving service, so we appreciate the feedback, but if there is an issue like that we would sincerely appreciate it if you could let a manager or owner know because we would get you what you need immediately!
