Kaitlyn is one of the most rude bartenders I have ever met. She has screamed/belittled myself, my friends, along with other patrons, while we have tried to order drinks a specific way that we like it while they bar had only maybe eight people max when both incidents occurred. I tried to reach out to one of the owners to inform them of what was going on in his establishment. Johnny was the owner contacted me and didn't even have the respect to call to see what happend he contact me via text and said it was better if I find another to drink at instead of fixing the problem internally. The two times I was in there with a friend and Johnny showed up he was really arrogant did not converse with anyone in the pub, very off putting and made everyome uncomfortable who was in the establishment as the time there due to his off putting demeanor, we all closed our tabs and migrated elsewhere. I used to frequent this place but started stepping back for mutiple reasons. Plus the food started off decent but went down hill as they do not filter their oil as often as they should so everything that is fried tastes the same. They even go as far as push the oil to the point that is burned yet continue to cook with it instead of changing the oil you can smell the burnt oil when you walk in if you have when cooked or even working a food setting you know the specifically. Also the night time crowd has gotten so bad at this establishment with people getting into physical fisticuffs over absolutely nothing that they had to higher a door man in order to reduce this instead of not letting that crew back in even though they know specifically who the people are. This is marketed as a high in bar but is quickly declining and turning into a dive bar with larger liquor selection. After changing from JB's (a failing Jefferson parish bar) to rebranding it as hogs alley and adding new partners but still keeping one of the original owners, they basically put a band aid on the business but one owner refuses to change his operation tactics as and it reflects. This establishment is slowly working their way back down to JB's antics. The outlook and demeanor of a business starts with the owners, that trickles down to management then eventually to the employees. This ultimately affects how patrons are treated. Then, when they are not properly reprimanded by higher-ups, it leds to every one one being disrespected. There are way to many pubs/eateries in this area to choose from for this type of disrespect to displayed to paying customers. Word of mouth advertising is your best friend but also your worst enemy. I will gladly pay more for a drink or food if the service is great and the atmosphere is receptive. Kaitlyn and Johnny lack both of these in every retrospect. Born and raised between Lafayette along with Marksville, Louisiana I can tell you the demeanor of owners and workers out here this would never fly. I have resided in old Metaire area for nine years the service along with attributes in this area gave declined significantly.

This place on Friday night was so busy and crowded that if someone spilled their drink, we may have all drowned.
