I called to inquire about an apartment for my daughter while she is in college. The lady who answered was so unbelievably rude. I never understand why apartment owners would hire the rudest possible people to run their business. This will never attract good business. Thank God I dodged a bullet.

To who It May concern!Sitting here on my balcony thinking about how blessed I am to live in such complex as flower gate apartments over 20 some years I can truly say this is one of the best apartment complex that I have ever lived in. that takes the time out for the tenants to make sure everything is going good for them safe for them love the property manager we have for flower gate which is Cindy. The office staff is awesome maintenance men's are awesome they all get the job done to make this complex a better place for people to want to live in I appreciate them all you don't find good management apartments like this one is so I am happy to be a resident at flower gate apartment.

I want to give an honest review of my experience living here for the past year. Unfortunately, I regret signing a long lease because this place is mediocre at best. There's always construction going on with the balconies, and although they fixed foundation and sinking issues by adding poles and reinforcing beams, they left several holes and nails in the interior walls, even though all of the work was done outside. The manager told us to deal with the holes until all construction was done, but it's been 2 months since then and nothing has been done about it. Furthermore, there are bugs everywhere, especially in the kitchen, despite our apartment being newly renovated (though the appliances were not upgraded) and sprayed multiple times by exterminators. We suspect that the bugs are coming from the neighboring units.
Although this complex advertises as pet-friendly, there are no pet accommodations such as potty zones or poop bag stations, and there's no grass for dogs to use. Instead, they have to use the shrubbery and bushes, where there's a lot of trash, including entire rotisserie chickens, boxes of Popeyes, and bags of chips. People let their dogs roam free, which extremely dangerous and is completely against the lease, and there are stray, flea-ridden cats around. When I reported these issues to the management, they were dismissive and unhelpful saying "The stray cats are just free pest control." and "We need the apartment number to do anything [about the off-leash dogs]"
The worst part about living here is the neighbors. They're rude, break the lease constantly, and play loud music. We were able to hear our neighbors music clearly and a different neighbors TV even clearer (At least I don't have to watch the news myself). When we reported them for violating the lease, and claiming to not be making any noise, the manager told us to deal with it and refused to take any action without proof. We had to document the noise with videos before they would act. Thank you to the front desk workers for taking action! Additionally, the whole apartment smells like weed and cigarettes every time the AC turns on, even though I don't smoke. When I informed the management about this issue, they only replaced the filter, which did not fix the problem and she said she can't do anything about it.
Lastly, the security is terrible. The gates are open all day, and the walk-in gate has no lock. There's no real security in place despite the complex advertising itself as a safe place to live. I have personally witnessed people selling and doing drugs in the parking lot in broad daylight. I also know for a fact they charge people different for the same apartment complexes. Overall, I cannot recommend this place, and I would not recommend anyone to live here unless you're desperate which we were.
