Tandem Coffee and Cocktails

Brunch at Tandem was a hit! The apple ricotta toast was delightful, but the egg & sausage croissant was the true starflaky, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Don't miss the unique latte with wedding cake syrup. Highly recommend for an unforgettable brunch!

The espresso machine hasn't been dialed in the pull time ratio for each latte was inconsistent. On top of that the portafilter basket left a residue aftertaste. If they dialed in the machine, worked on the pull timing, and properly sterilized the portafilter baskets it could have potential (The dairy alternatives are coconut milk and oatmilk, no almond milk). As for the food, we only got 2 scones and 3 poptarts. The aesthetics of the food in the display looked amazing. However, the two blueberry scones we received were burnt and stale, the homemade poptarts were frozen. After allowing them the proper time to thaw the pastry crust. It wasn't remarkable, the keylime flavoring was from a box and the blueberry filling from a can. It may be better when it's fresh. I'm assuming from the flavor profile that they use margarine instead of butter. Comparing the reviews to the actual experience... it's the Taco Bell Effect if you're drunk or an alcoholic this place must be amazing.
