Pet Emergency Clinic

Our pup Scout got bit by a snake on his nose. Unbeknownst to us as of the timing of this mishap. When we got home he was lathargic, and his entire nose, jaw back into his ears and neck was swelling. We rushed him to lake Charles to the Pet Emergency clinic , starting with Vet. Tech, TJ to Dr Prince treatment was top notch! Best pet urgent care around!!! They were absolutely amazing to us and Scout!!! Anti-venom was given along with fluids and overnight observation Hes doing great!! Thank you for taking great care of our lil boy! Pet Emergency was a life savior for my mom and her fur baby Sandi. She had gotten into something that she shouldn't have and mom was stressing (she's 85) and it was 10 at night. The staff and Dr there were so compassionate with Sandi and my mom. They took care of the situation and actually calmed my mom and made her feel good. Thank yaw so much with the great care of Sandi and my mom.

If only place you have to bring animal, I know I never will bring another animal here, consider Lafayette or somewhere else. They treat you like they are only interested in money, you better have that money up front, I was going to ask them to wait til Monday, based on what happened with my child, I could not do that, then it got more complicated, needed surgery, wasnt sure I would be able to get the money before I got paid on Monday, but told me to consider signing her over after paying for her first part ahead of time with someone elses credit card. Then tell me to think about signing her over to let someone else pay for the surgery but could not wait for me on Monday, I got the person to do the credit card again, they did the surgery, paid about 2000 dollars, and they sent me home without antibiotics and I even used my money paid on Monday to bring to another vet and she still died due to a leaky gut and internal infection. They act as if they really do not care. I will never bring an animal here ever again. Took me 2 months to write this review as I am still not over her death, but would have made this review anyway if she did not die, consider another option.
