Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse

We used to love it here. This visit was definitely not fantastic. The atmosphere of drunken buffoonery has replaced the intimate elegance that we previously experienced. The filet was oddly tough, but overall the food was good. The halibut special was exceptional. The service was the saving grace of the evening; the staff were great. The absolute worst aspect, was that they inexplicably used cheap flimsy trays for the to go food. Hundreds of dollars of food was wasted because they couldnt spring for a better option. The quality of the food doesnt matter if its mixed together in the bottom of a bag.

My wife and I come to the GNLC at least 6 times a year and are frequent diners at Vic and Anthony's. I really debated on writing this review and most certainly won't expect a constructive response from their Management or I hope they don't insult me by asking for more information so they can research my complaint further as they have in other bad reviews. We are LSC members, Chairman level players thus have plenty of perks, comp, etc;. Michael our server has always been spot on during our visits but last Saturday night was a complete bust for Vic and Anthony's and a total disappointment for us. We ended up walking out after waiting an hour for our food and went across the hall to eat. There's no need to bore anyone with the gory details but let's just say it wasn't their finest hour and after several inquiries on where's our food when the wife says lets go we're gone...

I have never experienced poor leadership at an establishment in my life. The Family decided to celebrate my aunts 76 birthday at Vic and Anthonys. My Uncles made reservations a month prior and had worked with reservation agent to coordinate with us to be seated in the same area. When we arrived to our dismay one party was seated in the very back of the restaurant and the other party in the very front of the restaurant, We reached out to Dawson the manager on duty for help. We explained that my aunt who recently had a stroke and was already in a wheelchair was celebrating her birthday together with friends and family. Dawson said he will see what he can do but never returned. We ask for him twice more but no Dawson. One of the couples at the table nearest to my aunts table was willing to switch with us but Dawson finally appeared with no for an answer. Discussed with the service half the parties left. What was supposed to be a celebration turned into frustration and disappointment. Thanks for your leadership Dawson.

Started off with the glazed quail as an appetizer and then finished with the salmon and lamb with a side of the Au Gratin Potatoes. If you go here you need to try the potatoes at least once. It is worth all of the excitement over them.
