This team is such a gift to the Acadiana area. For anyone reading this, I want to let you know that these are some of the most knowledgeable and compassionate therapists I have ever worked with. If you are stressed, struggling with life transitions, navigating relationships, navigating being LGBTQIA+ in South Louisiana, and so much more - THIS is where you can find loving, professional support for yourself (and your partner if applicable). Shout out to Anna Juarez and Mica Salazar specifically, but I can imagine that everyone on staff here has their own artful way of offering space and support to each client. Be brave and seek help when you need it. You never have to struggle or suffer in this life alone. Therapy is a wonderful tool to help you on your healing journey.

Choosing Mica and Tree of Life Counseling & Consulting for my mental health healing journey was the best decision ever! Going to therapy shouldnt be a chore. It shouldnt be something you dread. It should be a place where you are ready to open up, be vulnerable, and receive the tools, guidance, and care you need to help you navigate life independently. After meeting Mica, I knew I had found the person who would provide me with all of the above. Mica is very knowledgeable and informative. She is transparent, honest, dedicated, attentive, and she will be real with you. I look forward to my sessions with Mica. We have been working together on my issues for some time now, and we have made a significant amount of progress. It has not been easy, and I have to do my part and put in just as much work as she does. In person or virtually, Mica has always been supportive and effective. Therapy can be a long-term process, which means a long-term partnership with your mental health provider. I highly recommend Mica and Tree of Life for that process!
