Really bad management in both the service and people working there. Run down apartments that are just not worth it.

I have been trying to get them to fix my toilet for 3 weeks to a month now. I am filling the toilet tank with water a cup at a time so I can use it. I have a very unsanitary feeling about my current situation with my apartment. I am being forced to spend my money and time to make repairs needed because of the lack of interests from the complex to fix my issue.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Every time I have come visit my girlfriend at this place there is some major problem making it quite unlivable. The air conditioning has failed 4 times this summer (102 degree days) resulting in her having to make one maintenance request after another weeks apart from each other. The heat has also failed multiple times in the winter. Wasps always seem to find their way into apartment through holes in walls and due to windows not being sealed completely when closed. The office says this is our problem Bc they are (coming from outside) therefore it isnt maintenances responsibility. Roaches are bad, termites are bad, appliances are bad, while management and employees are the absolute worst. Save yourself the anguish, stay away and find something else, anything else. The only good reviews for this place have to be coming from tonti staff and family members/friends. HORRENDOUS

If I could rate this place zero stars I absolutely would. I have lived here for over two years and going from 3 different units I have always had a problem. My first unit was C108 phase 2 a one bedroom apartment. This was the first place I have ever moved to on my own. Fresh out of mom and dads house. That one was fine. A little roach problem at first, but nothing their exterminator couldnt handle. Only found a few. I stayed in C108 phase 2 for about a year. Later on I moved to A103 phase 1 a two bedroom apartment because my brother moved in with me. Ive probably only seen one roach there in 18 months, but wasps were found in my room suddenly. I killed about 7 wasps in 18 months. It seemed like they would come from my ceiling fan (Maybe there was a nest between my ceiling and my neighbors floor? Im not sure). I called the Woodlake desk about this issue and they kinda shrugged it off and didnt know what to tell me. No one came and inspected the problem. Nothing. I had to deal with wasps randomly flying out my fan. The oven doesnt work and the dryer has to go through about 3 cycles until your clothes are dry. Once my lease was up with A103 the wasp infestation, I downgraded back to a one bedroom to J107 phase 2. I moved there May 1st 2021. J107 phase 2 is a nightmare. The water had a rotten egg smell and was dark brown. I had to run the water for hours to get rid of the smell. My AC wouldnt get cool. The shower was horrible as well. The bath to shower piece was broken and half the water would shoot out the bath instead of the shower head. Theres also a huge roach infestation in the building. The management refuses to admit it and did not disclose that before the signing of the lease. The day the maintenance man came to repair the AC he left the master key in my deadbolt on the outside of the door unattended while I was at work. I came home at 8pm (I went bought ortho home defense spray after work) and saw the key with my lights on in the unit. So, I have no clue how long my door was unlocked. I waited for a few hours for him/her to return for the key but no one came. I later turned the key into the front office and they shrugged that off as no big deal. I didnt think that was acceptable. I then emailed the main Tonti office and Dawn was nice, but didnt seem to give the maintenance man any reprocussions for his actions. She said hes been here for many years and hes sorry. Okay, sure pal. Anyways, I was furious. The day I moved in I saw two roaches. When I woke up I found two more. Some were babies & some were adults. I notified the landlord and they sent someone to come spray. It is now May 26th and I still have been finding roaches in this unit. I have never had a roach problem before. I keep the carpet clean, no food or water lying around. I dont understand why there are roaches. I am about $60-$70 in pesticide and traps. They do not want to reimburse me. I have sprayed my apartment with ortho home defense all along the baseboards, door, windows, kitchen, bathroom, everywhere. I have boric acid powder all over my apartment. Little peanut butter poison bait balls. I hope whoever reads this decides not to rent here. They do not and will not care about you or your belongings. They do not respect you. They only want your money & will threaten to evict you in a heartbeat.

Seriously, believe the reviews! The ONLY reason why I ended up living here is bc no other apartments were available at the time I needed one. These apartments are the worst Ive ever stayed in!! Ive been here for almost 2yrs and could write a novel on the list of things thats wrong. From poor management to pest infestations to the thin walls and squeaky floors, idk which is worst. Not to mention, cats and opossums surround the apartments and the office say theres nothing they can do about it. I informed the office of my neighbor feeding both animals outside and nothing was done. In the 1st yr, I literally made 15 maintenance requests for countless issues. The AC is TRASH. It does not get cold in your apartment so be prepared to buy fans. The dryer is TRASH too bc it takes 3 cycles for your clothes to completely dry. I regret renewing my lease and advise anyone NOT TO RENT HERE even if youre desperate. You will regret it, I promise! Listen to the reviews.
