RJourney in Iowa LA was a great overnight stop. The spaces were level, paved and long enough for our big rig. The price cant be beat! Definitely easy access and quiet. We will stop by again on our way back through Louisiana.

We had stayed here once previously. However, on this visit we arrived after the office had closed. Our site was occupied by two vehicles from neighboring sites. We were not treated as well, as we thought we deserved. Eventually, we reached a call center which assigned we a new site. However, we spent some time trying to figure this mess out. Later, as we were preparing to pull into an unoccupied site a man appeared from behind the office. He denied being part of management, just a maintenance guy. He denied us access to my desired site, unless I paid more money. Considering the inconvenience of this, I would have thought we could just use this empty site. Nope, had to pay more $$$ for this pull through site. Numerous empty sites were everywhere. I later was told he was married to the property manager.
Clean property n convenient to I-10, but really disappointed in their approach. I also learned they knew who had been parked in our assigned site n apparently the residents do this regularly. Meaning, were inconvenienced by their (Rjourney) indifference. Sad n were not likely to return, as there are many other RV parks along I-10.

Nice lots & managers are friendly but 1 hour after checkout time, they were knocking on our door, wanting to know if we were staying another day when we had already told them we were leaving and then proceeded to tell me they were going to have to charge me a late fee for not being out on time! We have been traveling for years and never had anyone give us any trouble or tell us we would be charged late fee for being an hour after check out! With the park half empty! Also, other parks are understanding when you work long hours and you have to take care of rent that evening theyre not calling you multiple times and reminding you of something you already know! Rjourney need a little hospitality in the way the do business or their going to lose peoples business like theyve lost mine
