        Prevosts was recommended to me by a friend at church. They took my sons truck in fast and diagnosed it the same day. It needed a transmission rebuild. They were upfront with the cost and had him back on the road in just a few days. I had to swap trucks with my son about a month later and noticed it had a small exhaust leak (Normal sometimes with this type of job). I ask my son why he didnt say anything about the noise and he said he thought it was normal because the transmission was rebuilt, typical 16-17 yr old answer. I called Prevost and explained what the issue was and why such a delay in bringing it to their attention. They said no problem. We scheduled it in and they fixed it same day. VERY PROFESSIONAL business that I would highly recommend to anyone! Great Job Prevost!!!

      We regret that you feel you were overcharged for a service we provided for you. We strive to help save our customers money whenever we can. You called wanting a quote on an overhaul, which we gave you. We do, however, always dx the transmission before we do any work on it. There are many times through diagnosing that it turns out to be something more simple than a complete overhaul. As you know by the quote we gave you, an overhaul can be pricey. We found that your vehicle had several engine misses and we could not properly dx the transmission. Our scanner goes into more detail than the parts store’s scanners. We also do more than just hook up a scanner. We will drive the car and decipher what the codes mean by taking time to look them up on a program that we have. If it turns out that by fixing the engine misses fixed your problem then we feel that we have saved you a lot of money. If it turns out that you need an overhaul then we will gladly do that for you and we always take the dx fee off that price for the customer.
