        Dont have your system pumped out after a heavy rain. Learned the hard way. Septic tank popped up out of the ground before we could get it filled with enough water due to the amount of ground water. We had the tub faucet on full blast for over an hour in an attempt to fill it up as they said to do. They showed me the ground water seeping in but never warned me that it could pop up before getting enough water back in the tank. Called a contractor that they recommended and he said we couldnt have filled it up fast enough to avoid it from popping out of the ground. You live and learn.

      Upon speaking with you the day you made the appointment; I personally explained the process of filling the tank to avoid a pop-up situation. Our technician would have no possible way of knowing that groundwater was seeping in until the pumping was complete. The technician also explained the refilling process to you. You told me when you called after the pumping that your bathtub was not draining and I specifically asked if you had let it run without the stopper and you replied that you had not. In our 30 years of pumping, this has happened less than 5 times and it has always been due to incorrectly filling the tank. Taking all of these factors into consideration and the fact that not one other person today had their tank pop up and tanks are pumped routinely after rain, this 1 star review is not justifiable.
