My family's last 3 visits were such a mess. Forgotten in the waiting room pre covid. Forgotten in the vehicle post covid. No help choosing frames while they ladies sat behind the counter gossiping. Watched in horror as a lady with LONG talons for finger nails prying my small child's eyes open to put drops in (no gloves.) Wrong lenses were put in the frames, but I was told rather rudely that's how they were ordered. No, no it wasn't. Told I had to pay for the lenses to get them remade!! No I don't. Our insurance was billed incorrectly so we had to pay for an exam that should have been $10 and they flat out refused to fix it. 3 different people, 3 visits in 2020 and all 3 were botched.

I have been a patient for 25 years. I now bring all my kids here. However since the "take over" the service has gone down hill. I have been waiting on my 8 year old's glasses since June 8th. They supposedly came in and did not meet inspection. I had to call them several times for updates. Today 9/2/2020 still no glasses. Seven people in this house hold are now leaving what use to be one of the best eye care places in Houma.

Professional, courteous and caring is the way I would describe the people at Cloutier Eyecare! Dr. Cloutier is the best!
