One star means you get a ZERO rating for losers. Pier 1 sent a stool instead of a teak wood chaise lounge. Now due to their own mistake, out of bad faith. Their requirement is to have their item returned before my item which was paid for in advance can be sent to me. This behavior lets their customers know regardless of what your status in life means. You will be treated as a common thief. Even when they send the wrong item, if you do not return their item first, then they will not ship your item. When a customer is told a supervisor will call. This is a lie since they obviously do not have anyone to return your call. Its a de-escalation method no matter how many days in a row this promise is made. All of their repesentatatives are foreigners, which are highly professional. Unfortunately, they have no impowerment to resolve the issue. Tomorrow I will make a 60 mile mile drive to get a shipping label to return the stool because I do not have a printer. Their way of resolving the shipping requirement means you have to do their leg work. They refuse to send a shiipping label. Customer rentention is not importent, their culture is to force feed you their policies regardles of the consequences. If Pier 1 cared about our planet they would mail me the shipping label by u.s. postal service to return item by fedex. Now can you see there is a common between conglomerations which let us know the customer does not come first.

Worst customer service. Terrible experience. No accountability. After 20 Years as a loyal customer, Im done.

Attentive staff and well organized store with prices that could be better. When you buy items on special its worth it. Great place to find original decor and accents. Plenty of parking.
