I made a reservation for mobile pickup. This location did not process my reservation even though I had a confirmation email, which we did not find out until we attempted to pick up the truck before the store opened (the time I scheduled the pickup for). I declined the protection coverage on my reservation online, but the store rep added it anyway after my husband waited in line behind 10 people to get the truck. Had they processed the reservation the day before pickup, none of this would've happened. ALSO, The store rep hung up on me when I called to discuss the situation. You can improve by processing reservations in a timely manner, not charging people fees they specifically declined, and by not hanging up on your customers.

Absolutely most garbage place Ive ever been. Made a reservation on august 31st for 9/11 at 7am to get a hitch installed on my car. Needed to leave this god forsaken state and town by Thursday as I told landlord I would be out of apartment by the 14th. Called uhaul on the 7th to confirm everything. Everything got confirmed. Show up at 7am they have no parts the hitch installer was rushed to the hospital but was talking on the phone to employee about why he wasnt there and she asked him if he even knew about a hitch install. They also didnt have the parts even though I put the reservation in on 8/31. I was obviously upset as I had paid for it in full already. Got told I need to stop cursing then other employee threatens to fight me. Woman employee had to hold him back. Then they call AGM and she basically tells me they cant do anything and I just need to reschedule. Was accused of being racist when I said I hate this town. Called uhaul customer service they were very helpful but as I got transferred I got to the main corporate managers Regina Tabora she had already contacted the store and was on there side the whole time. Telling me I need to respect them after they disrespected my time and money. Never asked for a refund and the AGM decide ti cancel everything so now I have ti wait 3-5 business to get my money back and scramble to find someone to install a hitch before Thursday. Absolute joke of a business. Take your business anywhere else. Baton Rouge uhaul were much more helpful as they actually tried ti get me the parts by Thursday but it would be too late for me. Go ti BR I shed of giving them your business.

Truly terrible. Trust the reviews. If everyone is having a bad experience, it's probably because the place sucks. We rented here for over a year. I had an outdoor unit. Went to get some things out of it on a Sunday and my lock would not open even though we had both keys. I asked at the office if they could cut the lock off and the girl told me they weren't allowed and that I'd need to call a locksmith if I couldn't get it open. We decided to cut the lock off ourselves and put a new one on. Did this without issue or damage to anything other than the lock (which I owned). I put a master lock on, not realizing the rental agreement required a disc lock. Monday afternoon I get a call from the manager telling me they were charging me for the door because it had a scratch in it and that they put a new disc lock on and charged our account for it. They also informed me that they had mailed the keys to that lock to the address "on file". My address on file was my old address in Tennessee from when we moved. The "damage" to the door was a superficial RUSTED scratch. When I explained that that was an old address, neither the manager nor the district manager cared that they had locked me out of my unit indefinitely even though I was paid up and were told we would still continue to owe full rent even though they had locked us out. My husband and I decided we would move out because I didn't want to give them anymore of our money. After work on Tuesday we went to the unit and planned to have a locksmith meet us there to get out of the unit, only to find that the manager had deactivated our gate card. It was 3 hours before the gate was supposed to be locked. We called the 800 number and they told us there was no reason we should be locked out. We tried to call the manager and only got her voicemail. We canceled the locksmith but were able to get in with a gate code so ended up cutting off the new lock and emptying our unit that night. I will never use uhaul for anything else after this experience. The management is manipulative and petty and willing to breach contract just to "get one over" on people. Seriously, anywhere is better than here. Oh, and as a bonus all of our stuff was infested with spiders. It took hours and hours to clean it all before moving it to our new extra space storage unit.
