This is my review of the Neill HR department as a candidate that was treated like absolute dirt. On January 31, I received a call from a recruiting agency stating that this company (they never revealed the nameI found this out later) would be in need of a position that I have almost a decades worth of experience in. I was elated, and jumped at saying yes to an interview. I even did two-hours worth of paperwork, assessments, and questionnaires for this recruitment firm to send to Neill for review. The following day, I am told that my interview will be next week on Wednesday at 9 am + I had to do a preceding drug screening and background check the day before my interview with Neill. Wednesday comes, Im sitting at my screen for TWO HOURS waiting for a link to start my interview, nothing. The manager never showed up and I was left in confusion. Thursdaynothing.The recruiting agency didnt hear from the Neill rep (Director of Staffing) until FRIDAY and she says that itll be Monday at 9am. Monday comes nothing. I sit around again and this same Neill HR Rep abandons the interview. She then calls around lunchtime to apologize, sell me on the position, and then ask me to wait til today to find out next steps. What were the next steps that I waited ANOTHER WEEK to hear? They reject my candidacy and move on to internal candidates. After almost a month of stringing me along, completely abandoning interviews, wasting my time, and me going out of my way (45 minutes from my home) to do a background check and drug screening. They wipe their hands of me and cant even give me the courtesy of realizing that Im a person with a family that didnt need to be treated this way if they were going to discard me entirely. I dont know how they treat their employees, but if youre looking to be employed by this company, understand that your time and efforts may not be valued in the process. I have no issue with them looking elsewhere, thats business. I have issues with being ghosted TWICE by their HR Representative and treated like garbage throughout the process. They wouldnt even respond to messages after they dont show up for their own interview?! People have families to provide for and this was beyond unethical treatment of someone you all sought out to begin with.
