This place is full of terrible people . The managers are just garbage who lie . This is not a property company but a single owned set of Apartments. It is "the hood." Do not trust anything about this apartment complex when you come. This place should not be considered for anything. The tenants are so bad that a lady has to go and inspect each apartment every two months .This place is more like a Psych Ward and less like an apartment complex. Lots of crime.

I think anytime you call, visit, or view a listing and there should be a big banner out front. That all should say "you have anything in collections? We don't rent to people like you" That could save people time, and money. The ladies in the office are nice, but even if you have plenty of money. I don't recommend you bother wasting your time or money trying to rent here. Even if you've always paid your rent on time, don't have a criminal record, and what not. I'VE NEVER BEEN TOLD NOT APPROVED until now. I've had to make a lot of decisions to get where I am. Some of those decisions were financial. I didn't go to my last job thinking the pay wouldn't be suffice, but I also took the job. Knowing how horrendous the job market is. They paid what they paid and I finally had my own place to stay. Unfortunately they didn't pay well enough. Financial decisions had to be made. So that rent could be paid. Credit cards went unpaid. I continued to look for work though. Now that I'm making money. I had hoped I would get a place to stay nearby the new job. Gradually work my way to paying the debts. I shouldn't have to talk about my life story. But here I am. That maybe I could get a loan and pay it all overtime in one lump some but because I decided to have a roof over my head with my last job. That I had a place to stay and decided not to pay those credit cards. I'm now being turned away from having an apartment to stay near my new job where I actually do make enough money to not only pay for the apartment but to pay for the debts. Sadly all the other apartment options that I've come across in Hammond aren't up to my liking so far and this one after all the years of renting and having no issues. I've been turned away but such is life. I appreciate that I was least given an application and a response in a timely manner. It's unfortunate I have to discuss my personal business in regards to why I have to make the decisions I make when the application asked about my rental history and I had nothing to hide. It has always been paid on time or mostly on time. Either way it's their policy and I just want to warn anyone who's thinking this is the somewhat best option in Hammond. It might be but don't have any financial woes outside of paying your rent on time because somehow that's their business.

I have had the best renting experience with these guys. Me and my fiance love to live here because it's a vast improvement compared to local competition. Repairs are always made day-of-call, management is friendly, there's A POOL! I understand that some reviews are low from a few years ago and they may have deserved them then. However, I believe the act has been cleaned up and they absolutely deserve their 5 stars. Rent HERE. Not Smith, not The Grande, here.

Great place to live. If maintenance is needed they are there within the hour. The complex is kept really clean and the units are remodeled after each tenant. Id say its the best apartments for the price in hammond area

I am sorry but I don't recall your name as a tenant or potential tenant so I do not know where you received your information from. As for inspections, if you lived here you would know that every 2 months we inspect apartments to assure there are no water leaks & to look for any repairs that might need to be completed on our apartments. We also spray for bugs, change A/C filters and check smoke alarms & fire extinguishers. This is all to maintain good upkeep of our apartments for our tenants. We strive to keep all tenants happy and all apartments in good condition. As for tenants, we have tenants that have lived here for many years as well as returning tenants & children & friends of past tenants. You are welcome to come to the office & speak with management if you have any issues.

I am sorry you feel you were mislead but we do inform all potential tenants that a credit check is completed to determine approval. If your credit improves and you meet the qualifications, we will consider you in the future for approval. Good luck with future rentals.
