Dollar General

Everyone here always have a positive attitude. The man Sames I believe thats his name was very helpful, patient and had a positive attitude.

Dollar General in my opinion; very convenient and only a block away feom house, reasonable prices, always find some of the cutest clothes on the clearance rack.too. Always have a big variety of everyday things, food, clothing, etc which makes it easier then having to go to the grocery....love dollar General always have and will!!!

02MAR24 ~ Dollar General did not have sales flyers at their stores this week and the online app did not post the sales flyer either. I contacted their online customer service, and they wanted me to pay $55/month for an answer as to why they did not have any sales flyers either at stores or online! Store #14836, 1604 hours, 27SEPT21. One the DG employees, he did not have a name tag, was a terrible DG store representative. The cash register clerk did not know if this store had any sales flyers and referred me to a large, 6'ish, heavy set black male. The large guy did not even know what a sales flyer was, which is a sad testament for any employee older than a teenager. He did not know what they were of even where they were normally kept. He was insecure and tried to bluff his way out of his not knowing basic things. He eventually pointed to a single sheet of paper that was not weekly or the sales flyer. I retrieved my the three Seven Ups I wanted to buy and went to check out. I told the cash register clerk that it should ring up 3 for $3. The larger guy said no it was not 3 for $3. I looked at him and said that it was and said that it was in your flyer. He called me a liar and, in a high pitched, nervous, & angry voice said I did not know what I was talking about. His level of anger was skyrocketing as he ranted that I was wrong & did not know what I was talking about. I asked the clerk to ring it up and it rang up 3 for $3. The larger guy was now irrational as he ranted that the cash register was wrong, had to be wrong, that he 7-Ups were not $1 each. I left the guy as he spewed his hostility & anger. DG can use the information as they see fit but I would not want this guy being a representative of any store I owned. Last Week: Unethical Business Practice/No Sales Flyers/Rude & Unhelpful Cashier: It is an unethical business practice to advertise an item, not have, or plan on having it. People show up for the item, it is not there, your employees lie about it, & refuse to give a rain check for it. All of the above speak poorly about Dollar General. Regards the on sale 4# bag of Sugar: 1st day of the sale I arrived mid morning. You did not have any of the sugar & the cashier said you 'had just sold the last one' but more will be on the truck tonight. I stopped by again in the evening. 'The truck has not been unloaded but the sugar will be out on the shelves in the morning.' 2nd day of the sale: I stopped by earlier in the morning but there was no sugar on the shelves. Cashier: 'Just sold the last one' but more will be on the truck tonight. I stopped by again in the evening. The truck was unloaded but there is no one to stock the shelves. Check back in the morning.' Next morning, still no sugar on the shelves. ~ Sales Flyers: You did not have any, the cashier repeatedly, over several days, kept saying that you did not have any. I shop the sales. If you do not have a sales flyer, I do not shop there.
