I recently went into Enterprises Car rental for a vehicle. I wasn't pleased with the hassle of getting the vehicle I requested online & on the phone. One of the agents stated they were holding the vehicle for another person when I rented the same vehicle. I was charged $10 more per day in order to get the vehicle. I was told that although we both rented same vehicle but the one on the lot was loaded. Well, that was not my problem!! I was very disappointed!!

Let me preface this by stating that I rent with significant frequency at Enterprise at another location for whatever that is worth. Pick-up Service: I arrived on time for my rental. Was asked for my employer information (which is unusual considering I rent 3-4 times a month from Enterprise and have been doing so for over a year so it's not great to feel like a brand new customer who has not done business there before.) The person was not very friendly but also not particularly rude. I was told to have a seat and given no other information. My biggest issue: I ended up waiting about 30 minutes for them to get a car ready with no updates until right before it was ready. Car: The car was not well taken care of. Marks all over the interior of the vehicle, and it had a cigarette smell (a cigarette burn was visible on the seat itself.) Other than that the car was fine as far as driving and what I had selected when booking. Return Service: Return service was better from a friendliness standpoint, but there has been a trend happening where employees are asking you to rate the customer service in person. No one is going to feel that they can give feedback honestly in person like that. It's like someone asking you how the food was and clearly hoping you say it was great-- even if you try to be honest, you'll inevitably temper your feedback. It's also just weird to ask that and put someone on the spot like that generally. I tried to be honest without being rude and said "well the return service has been much better than the pickup" and the employee told me to then leave the positive feedback if given a survey. He didn't ask me what went wrong with pickup which expressed to me both that he didn't actually care about my service and that he wasn't going to try and correct whatever went wrong. That really bothered me and is largely why I decided to leave this review. Summary: Was it the worst service? Absolutely not. But it wasn't a great experience and I didn't appreciate having someone pressure me to leave good feedback for their benefit while completely ignoring my needs and experience as a customer.

I've always had a great experience with enterprise the Gretna Louisiana branch it's always happiness and smiles every time I rent a car there everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable and treated me nothing but respect. When I picked up my rental Dwight Lewis was so sweet and helpful he made sure I was comfortable and okay. When I returned the rental Liane was the same way sweet helpful and very respectful. I'll always rent a car from Enterprise.
