Your basic model a little worse for wear without breakfast.

It is a place to stay for a night or a few nights, it is not a home and it will not accommodate your reasonable requests, even if you are their religion. I got into Franklin town yesterday and stop by the Red Brick Cafe or Bistro and really got along with the owner, Sophia. Rather than leave town and head West she offered I could stay with her family, but then her house is totally full and she gave me a room in the hotel she had seen, the Liberty Inn. They hung up on us trying making a reservation about six or seven times, wouldn't respect my religious affiliation being Hindu Buddhist even when they're Indian and tried calling me Mark, and then put me in a smoking room after pretending there weren't any other rooms which had been one of my common occurrences at hotels. However, they were beyond polite in some moments to friendly. I don't worry about it too much and then went to the dollar store to get some candles and dropped a couple off at the front desk just to be nice. The room was pretty nice except the bathtub hadn't to plug, but rather than just a bed and desk and chair, there was a love seat and table which was kind of nice. When I set my altar up I put a little picture of Kali in front of the altar as they had said their home Temple is a Kali Temple. They hadn't posted a checkout time nor had they told me what time check out was and I checked in at night, but they're not on my door at 10a saying I should have already checked out. It wasn't too much of a problem because I had stayed up most of the night chanting, meditating and so on and had already gotten my morning chanting at 6:30 a.m. done, but it was kind of rude to them when I asked if I could check out at 12a instead and they became angry and insisted I rushed my way out of the hotel room and I had just hand washed a few pieces of laundry which would be dry by the time I got done practicing yoga, which is when they interrupted me. I guess I would like to think people who share my religion with me wouldn't be so unkind, even if I am lighter skinned, and either way that they might be more reasonable when the rush isn't based on a necessity. And I know it might be going a little bit out there, but if the hotel is Indian run why not call it buy something which evokes the sense of "Home" in Indian culture? Rather than mask it? And then be known by your hospitality and your sense of "home"? Why would you want those who wouldn't accept that anyway, when you could still be successful?
