When I arrived, there wasnt one open seat in the house. The servers apologized for the potential 45 minute wait. I decided to order to go, which took my wait time down to 30 minutes. They offered to get me something to drink, and they worked quickly to get my lunch ready. I ordered the fried shrimp, french fries, hush puppies and garlic bread, and it was worth every second that I waited. The shrimp were flavored perfectly. The batter was just right. The fries are so crispy on the outside that it crunches when you bite them, and they are perfectly tender on the inside. Amazing food! Amazing staff! 10/10 recommend!!

The food was fresh and cooked with perfection and love. I had the Poule Rouge, it was phenomenal. My mother had the fried shrimp platter, it was good. My father had the real roast beef poboy, it was good. My grandmother had the fried catfish platter, it was good. Our appetizer, fried okra was phenomenal. Our server and her service was pure waiting and worth while the wait. The food was fresh and hot when it got to the table. That's great service. I definitely recommend this place. Taste Of Louisiana Caf. It was phenomenal. Descent walk from where we were at on the strip of town. We enjoyed it, 100%
