Dear Stacy,I spoke with Choice and they traced the origins of the reservation and in fact it was made on the internet. I did give you the military leisure rate of $145 plus tax. I have explained to you provide paperwork to verify your husband was sent to Baton Rouge area to work and you will qualify for the $94 dollar rate. Without paperwork the reservation qualifies for the military/government rate of 5% off the best available rate which you were given a rate of $145 plus tax which was more than the 5% off. Whether you booked with a person or online, does NOT change the procedure of verifying the employment to qualify for the military rate.We apologize when you booked your reservation on line and chose the Military/Government rate that states in parentheses “Official Business Travel” only, you mistakenly chose it instead of the “Leisure” travel which gives you a percentage off the rate. By the way, I did ask the front desk to give you that rate. We do appreciate your service to our country which is why we gave you the discounted rate.We hope you enjoy your stay.
