        My experience is with the preschool and not the church so proceed with that in mind. I had one child at HTLS two years ago and we LOVED our teachers, the director, the pastor, everyone. We had an unexpected life occurrence and needed to pull our daughter midway through the year but we had paid the year in full. After repeated attempts to resolve this and hearing various reasons why the money would not be prorated and refunded, we finally gave up. It was heartbreaking to have such a bad conclusion to a really wonderful relationship. It seems like the preschool funds the church and the church really needed the money - my best guess bc I really don't know.
