The staff was super knowledgable. They have a great selection of frames. They were patient with all of my questions and they made suggestions and helped me find what I needed. To make it all better, the turn around was super fast! They had the lenses I needed on hand. I went to 2nd and Charles while I waited and they called me in 30 minutes.

What a gem! I decided to try Smarter Eyewear while visiting family in BR. Eric and Kim helped me find the perfect pair and had my lenses installed in no time. This store has an amazing selection of top-quality, global and local brands. Excellent people and service. I couldn't be happier with my glasses. Thank you!

I spent $1000 on some glasses including a coating they said would make things clearer, even showing me a sales poster on how much clearer. I think it was about $100 extra. The coating was bad so they re-did. It was still bad and made it hard to read with the glasses. They said I would have to buy all new lenses. I cant use the glasses. Ill never go back. UPDATE: a long time later Smarter Eyewear responded. First, they said I did not pay $1,000 for my glasses. Sorry, I paid more than $900 and rounded off. Good grief. I personally paid about $500 and my boyfriend paid the rest as a birthday present because I wanted some really nice glasses. Everything I said in my post is true. An example of their arrogance is their answer wanting to prove me wrong with a lot of words. I will never shop there again. Instead of trying to prove me wrong they should have taken responsibility and fixed the problem. A very bad experience made worse by their arrogance and the I am right and the customer is wrong attitude.

Website clearly states adjustments are free of charge . I was charged $25 for an adjustment to a pair of sunglasses. Beware.
