Everyone, please contact the Louisiana Public Service Commission to file complaints. It's about time utility companies are held to basic standards and have accountability. I can't believe a company like this is allowed to supply power to hospitals and universities. They always experience outages as if we didn't live in a first world country or in the desert somewhere. Their prices are ridiculous, especially since they don't properly maintain lines and wait for natural disasters to do infrastructure upgrades so that they can be bailed out by the government, yet they are allowed to continue operating independently. They should be fined repeatedly until they get their business together and stop engaging in poor practices. Backdoor dealings and political arrangements allow them to keep treating customers poorly and providing sub-par services. It will not change until customers hold both Energy and Commissioners responsible.
