My friend lives in an apt here and I'm told there is no one landlord for entire complex, but that each apt has different landlords. I'm not familiar with this style, but it seems to work well. The apt is a one bed /one bath and it's very nice, modern style, clean, and new. Rent for this apt is apx 1k/mo not including utilities. You have to buy your own wifi service - there's an open Cox wifi, but you still have to sign up for service to use it.
It's got an outdoor swimming pool that's well maintained and clean.
