When I first entered "The Boutique" on Jones Creek Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I thought what a very nice boutique with fashionable merchandise. I purchased three items that day and had a pleasant experience, however two days later I decided to return one item and had a totally different experience! An uncomfortable experience that changed my perception, drove me away as a future customer and will restrict me from recommending this shop to friends and family. It is extremely important for this company and any company to always remember to be consistently helpful, friendly, and positive not only doing sales, but also with returns. The boutique has a 10 day return policy, which I made sure to abide to. I returned the item within two days, unused, tags still attached, with original receipt. From the moment I mentioned that I had a return, the lady behind the counter had an attitude. She dusted the item off, implying  that the item was dirty or used. The other lady, that was very nice the day of my purchase, came to the counter, looked at the item as if it wasn't the boutique's item and preceded to dust the item again in my presence. (A gesture just to let me know they were not happy with the return) Obviously, they wanted to upset me, but I kept thinking as a customer, I have the right to change my mind and return any item as long as it is unused and original tags attached. So, BEWARE!! If there is any slight chance that you may have to return an item, don't shop there!
