Have worked with Alec, taking care of my 2 trees, for some time now. He's great to work with, reasonably priced, and fun to talk to. He loves trees, so he's looking to find solutions that fit the health and needs of the tree, and the needs of the homeowner. CAN'T RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY ENOUGH.

His practice is a special balance of ease, precision & care. He provides a lens of how your garden will look in 50 years not just the immediate future. I used Alec for Oak trimming and he did a fantastic job. My garden is small and the Oak was taking over the garden space. Alec made very informed suggestions about selective pruning and the result is perfect for me and for the tree. My husband and I had a great experience with Lively Oak. Alec Baxt, the arborist, did a very thorough job. He was professional and willing to explain what he was doing. We had a great deal of pruning and tree trimming that needed to be done. He did a very careful job and really helped us to understand what needed to be done and why.
