I called since this company was recommended by a friend who has been using it over 20, maybe 30, years.  There was a coupon special; I did not have any issues, house was cooling, I just wanted spring maintenance to make sure I would not have problems.  The coupon said it included blowing out the drain line.  When I did ask if he blew it out, he indicated it was draining and he'd put chemicals in it.  (Two or three years ago I had to go up to pump water out of the drain pan; I did not want to repeat that hot task.)  Did not specifically say he blew it out.  But overall, I was satisfied. Until two weeks later - couldn't figure out why I couldn't cool down after working outside.  Finally looked at thermostat about 9 pm - temperature was 79 degrees and unit wasn't running.  Go up in attic - the very thing I was trying to avoid by hiring someone to do spring maintenance.  Sure enough - water in drain pan.  Got out the sump pump, drained the pan, turned a/c back on, and it's now working again.So, I don't think the drain line was blown out.  Whatever chemicals he put in there didn't work, either.  I was pretty happy when Mr. Proctor left a couple of weeks ago; didn't try to tell me things were wrong that weren't.  He warned me I might need freon after he'd inspected upstairs, but when he put the thing on at the compressor, it ended up I didn't need any.At the end of the day, I feel like I wasted $87.50 (price for spring tune-up).  As I mentioned earlier, the whole point was so I would NOT have to go up in the attic to drain the pan. House has cooled from 79 to 75 in a little less than 30 minutes after draining the pan.
