(Translated by Google) (russian) On January 13, 2018, my friends and I visited this place. I really liked it - it was fun and enjoyable. Many danced in pairs, and funny play dances were organized. I was very surprised at how beautifully people from all over the state and of all ages have a rest. It was explained to me that this place is the cultural center of Louisiana by heritage and preservation of musical styles of the past, such as country music, bluegrass, cajun, zydeco, blues, etc. And in the Town Hall, located nearby, competitive concerts of Louisiana music groups are organized. To be honest, it felt like I was in an episode of real American cinema of the past. (Original) (russian) 13- 2018- . -- . , . , . , , , , , , , . , , . , , .

Abita Springs Town Hall is a charming old building in a town that is a very nice place to stay or visit. And the Town is moving towards the future with a promise to use alternatively sourced electricity for it's municipal buildings by 2030!

The front offices in Town Hall are comfortable and functional. The main room is a versatile space that hosts the Abita Opry, the Cajun Dance, Friday night bingo, the annual Halloween party, and a host of private events along with regular Council meetings and other official gatherings. I love the wood floors and big windows all around. The concession area is roomy and works well. The fluorescent lights back there take away from the ambience though but, all in all, I love this place.
