        THIS is a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE PLACE OF BUSINESS!!! I trusted Donna Wheeler for 2 YEARS with my personal and business taxes. Paid her what she asked EVEN after she raised my rates by 150 dollars just one year into using her services!!!! Only for her to REFUSE to give me MY, YES, MY very own tax and accounting documents when I informed her I would be moving to a more affordable accounting and tax preparer who was actually able to find me FAR more tax credits for the two years of my business when I was working with Donna! I am just soooo very disappointed that business and people operate like this today. As a small business owner I just wanted the very files that are rightfully MINE as everything that Donna has obtained regarding my business I paid FOR so I OWN every document she refuses to give me. Never again, Wheeler Tax and Accounting, Inc. BEWARE customers, BEWARE!!!! If you try to leave this business they will steal and refuse to turn over alllll your documents.

      I would like to clarify a few things regarding this review. Lauren hired me to prepare her payroll. She had just started a new business and had two employees. Her business grew very quickly and she soon had four different locations and sixteen employees. And yes, I did increase her rate due to the growth of her business. I enjoyed working with Lauren and was very impressed at the success of her business. When she informed me that she was changing to a different accounting office, I wished her well. Her new office contacted me and they wanted me to send them a complete copy of my QuickBooks file on her business. I sent all of the required account numbers and documents they would need in order to prepare her payroll, but I refused to send the complete computer file. I also sent all requested information from previous years payroll. The new company was scheduled to begin the new year preparing her payroll. I finished out the year preparing her payroll and also prepared all of her W2's. And all of the work was completed timely as always. She refused to pay me for the last three months of work that I did for her, and has now left this bad review and accused me of stealing from her. I am a very small business owner, and do my best to treat my clients fairly and honestly. I hate that Lauren and I parted ways in this manner.
