        Great location between Slade and Stanton. Nice campground with a large lake. Good food and products available at their general store. There are only 4 showers but many portal pottys throughout for a restroom. Beautiful place to star gaze. The staff was very friendly.

        We stayed here in our pop up camper with 2 young kids and 2 dogs. We didn't know the area and were very happy with convenient location to trails, stores, and landmarks. The bathrooms and shower house were very clean. The store was convenient and well stocked. Staff was helpful and friendly. Very glad we chose to stay here.

        Of all the campgrounds we've stayed at, the best Bar-B-Que is at Callies Lake and Campground. The owner came door to door to inform campers that a Tornado Warning was in effect and that the Camp store was our safe haven.

        We spent the weekend at Callies and were more than satisfied with our stay. The campground was clean and had the amenities we were after. We also had some pizza and bbq from the restaurant. It was great! We will be back!

      Welcome to Callie’s Lake and Campground in Red River Gorge Kentucky! Our beautiful fifty acre campground is located within the Daniel Boone National Forest in Eastern Kentucky, and we are very pleased to offer RV and primitive camping next to our fully stocked four acre fishing and swimming lake.We have over 45 level, clean primitive campsites with fire rings, picnic tables and gravel driveways. All of our RV sites are equipped with 30 amp and 50 amp electric hookups. We strive to offer you a safe, clean and beautiful place to camp, fish and swim during your stay. Plus, you can fill your bellies at our country store and restaurant, and catch entertainment on the weekends. We look forward to seeing you and your family at Callie’s!
