While no renting experience is perfect, I can honestly say Taylor Rentals has been the best. I've lived in Richmond for over five years and have rented from several companies in the area, and none have been as honest and professional as Taylor Rentals. My apartment was spotless on move in and I didn't experience any maintenance issues during the time I lived there. The groundskeeping and maintenance staff are always in uniform, which I appreciate as a tenant, that way I know who I can trust when they come to my door. If I move back to the area as a renter, I hope I can rent with this company again.

The lease read that renters will be charged $100 automatically for cleaning when moving which was fine but being charged almost $200 for a refrigerator gasket is a bit ridiculous. Overall, my experience was cool. Laura was literally the best!

Honest Review
The price is great, my apartment came with a washer and dryer which was great . The ladies in the office are very nice (when I can get ahold of them ) Keep in mind I always pay my rent on time and in full. Even through covid . But have not had any luck with a couple of things . For one maintenance can enter your house at any time and they do not let you know if they have been there ! Which is concerning . Air conditioner has been leaking since I moved in .( Almost a year ago) It is not leaking now but that is because the air conditioner itself is NOT WORKING . STILL! I was left in 90° weather with no air conditioner all weekend until I had to go spend $200 on a window unit so I wasn't miserable sitting here. And now that I have a window unit my air conditioner is not getting fixed I guess until I move ? But besides those couple of things it's an okay place to live . Quiet neighborhood really. But needs a little work for sure . Make sure you get things fixed when you first move in otherwise it won't get fixed .
