This was by far the worst experience I've ever had when filing taxes. During a month long period we were avoided, lied to and ignored because we asked for an update on our taxes due to a mistake they made. They didn't tell us additional info was needed until we waited weeks and had to call them. The tax preparer literally called in sick to avoid us. Or taxes were simple and this is unacceptable. Both Gretta and Louanne(manager) were incredibly rude, unprofessional and making improper remarks that were completely out of line. I highly suggest anyone who considers them to go elsewhere. I'm not the only one who's had these issues. Check the reviews.

This is by far the worst experience ever in my life. My husband and I filed our taxes here and the tax preparer Zack put gas credit on our taxes. When I said I specifically said I didn't want it because it held up my taxes last year. And thats why im at back at H&R block this year because i filled 1 time by myself and messed them up. He insisted it would not and that it was probably because I filed with turbo tax. He said it would not happen with H&R Block as I did no boy need receipts for the gas credit. On Jan 31st my taxes froze and I knew what it was. So I had my husband call becausei was pi$$ed. He explained the situation and that we were upset as we asked him not to add the credit in the first place. We didn't want to pay $600 for them to do exactly what we did to ourselves last year for $250 with turbo tax. And that we told zack that. That it's less than $200 holding up thousands and we wanted to ammend and wanted some consequences for our tax preparer. They insisted it was not their mistake, and Zack did exactly what he asked him not to. They had he manager call us back and she was so rude told my husband that we need to stay of the irs website and that i need to calm down and wait. He was at work and told her to call me as he doesnt really know whats happening and i did our taxes last year and had the questions. So the manager called me and insisted it was nothing zack did she said it was because of my taxes last year so they automatically froze them this year. We waited a couple weeks and spoke with the irs multipletimes. We tried to call back and make an appointment but our calls never went through so we thought the phone was messed up so tried at all times of the day seing if it would go through...NOPE!!! They were avoiding us and ignored all our calls. After speaking with the irs 4x I needed to ammend my taxes. My husband and I tried to go to a different location to have them ammended because we figured them not returning our calls and our calls not going through was not an accident. We went to another location and was told we had to go back there since it's a franchise location. Meaning if they did them then only they can ammend them. So we reluctantly go back. He goes in tells them his name and the lady at the front desk gets the tax guy zack. He comes out saying oh your the guy with the 810 freeze code and they talk for a minute and he says that will get us in at 5. My husband comes back to the car and I have him go back in to ask if we will need to pay for an ammendment. The lady has someone on the phone and Says the person is on the phone as a witness and the cops are on their way since we called 18x and made threats. She said because my husband said words like consequences and retribution. He always uses big words but he said yes he said that but meant as in us not paying since the hold up is their mistake and firing Zack since he did this and we specifically asked him not to. We are now banned from ever going back there. Mind you that this was all from a couple phone calls a month ago. NEVER GET YOUR TAXES DONE AT THIS LOCATION!!!!!
