My son has been attending BBA since May of this year and I couldn't be happier with placing him here. The staff has been incredible with their communication regarding my son. They send pictures throughout the day and always have great things to say at pickup. I have called with questions, comments, and concerns and all were addressed in an appropriate amount of time with utmost professionally. I have recommended this center to many of my family and friends when asking about childcare.

I don't even want to give this place a star but the kids there were so cute and nice to my kiddo when we walked in and did our tour and it doesn't let you post anything unless you give it at least one star!! This place is so small and the Director is pushy and doesn't seem very family friendly. I had papers in my hands to enroll and I felt so pressured and so many wrong vibes from her and the way she talked with the kids is crazy to me, hopefully she has none of her own!

From the first time I reached out to building blocks they have treated me as a parent with respect. They listened to my concerns. The facilities are not on a main road and the doors have code entry which makes me feel comfortable and safe with my child attending. Chloe, Sam, gabby, jasmine and a few others I have regular interactions with are kind, compassionate and genuinely care not only for the well being of my child but mine as well as a single parent. My daughter has attended a few day cares due to moving and changing of circumstances. Building blocks has ample resources, creates a fun Childrens play area outside that my daughter loves, brings in opportunities for children to participate in extracurricular activities during the day while she is attending, and are open long enough for me to get a full day of work in as well as maybe run an errand on my way to pick her up. They are even flexible. They genuinely care about the children/ families they serve. I love building blocks academy.

We are happy to recommend Building Blocks Academy to anyone looking for daycare/childcare in the Cincinnati area. Our 2-year-old son is truly thriving in their care and environment. As working parents, daycare was essential when we had our son and we started the childcare experience at a center in Ft. Thomas. While we really liked the infant care, the center struggled with keeping teachers employed, forcing us to keep our toddler home because they didn't have enough staff to cover the amount of kids in their care. Building Blocks was recommended to us and we already knew some teachers in the center and I couldn't be happier that we made the switch. The teachers and caregivers are like family and treat our son the same way. They know that our son takes a little bit of time in the morning to warm up to his friends and teachers and they have so much patience with him. They keep us posted on his progress and let us know when he is ready to make the transition to another room; and ease into the changes so our son isn't completely overwhelmed. Our son is happy in their care and literally runs into school every day at drop-off. Additionally, Sam & Chloe do a great job keeping us in the loop on all activities at the center. They use a mobile app to keep us updated throughout the day and also keep a monthly calendar so we have a head's up on long-term expectations. The center is a little rough around the edges but there are coded locks on the doors so I feel comfortable with security and they are continually making improvements to classrooms and outdoor spaces. Any concerns that I have are addressed quickly and respectfully via text, email or through the mobile app. A bonus for us is that they provide diapers and wipes, plus two meals a day and snacks. Our son is a picky eater, but doesn't have any trouble with the food at BBA. The hours of operation are perfect for our work schedules and the administrators are flexible when we have to pull him out of daycare for an annual work trip that takes him away for 3 weeks. Our son loves Building Blocks Academy and we are happy that he is growing and learning in their care.

Hi Samantha, We really appreciate the feedback. However, are you sure that you have the correct center? My director hasn’t completed any tours in the last couple of weeks because we haven’t had any openings in our center. And we do not have your name as a contact for anyone on our waiting list. If it it was Building Blocks Academy in Highland Heights, please email me at [email protected] with the date, time, and classroom/ child’s name that you were touring for. I will look in to this promptly.
